Community Project Inc. (CPI) has been in existence for over 45 years. CPI has served thousands of underserved families in the Memphis and Mid-south areas, partnering with community, city, county, state and federal entities. Championing the cause for education, healthcare and community services, CPI has helped many families with services like daycare, food distribution, clothing, safety-awareness, crime-prevention, Summer Camps for underprivileged children, Community Development, Senior Housing and Community Satellite Police Protection.

CPI has also had partnerships with MLGW to provide easy access services. From November 2021 to date, CPI has also provided Free Covid PCR and Rapid tests for over 250 thousand persons in Memphis and the Mid-south. It became a training hub for many churches and organizations as to how to do Covid testing. In March 2020 we also partnered with The Department of Health and Human Services in Washington DC, and the nation’s Sergeant General to distribute over One Million masks to the State of Tennessee and beyond. We also partnered with FedEx so that we could offer free distribution of masks to families across America. In April 2020, we partnered with WORLDVISION and Farmers to Families to distribute food to over 200 thousand families and organizations. Later in 2021 we partnered with the City of Memphis and FEMA to give free vaccinations to thousands in the Memphis area.

CPI remains on the front-line offering free COVID testing and town hall awareness sessions, to keep our communities informed of the growing need to be vaccinated and tested. Our CEO, Bishop Brandon Porter, was also featured on FEMA’s website in a commercial promoting vaccinations to the nation and the world!
